My New Official Title

as appointed by me is h-scrapper... yip decided it sounded cooler that hybrid scrapbooker and easier to type :) Feel free to use it LOL. Ok at home sick today so did these.....  i love PS!  Think I should make a badge for that.  But hey if your interested in making the most of digitial and paper techniques check out PS Friday on my side bar.  Jessica Sprague rocks and well thats where I've learnt quite a bit of stuff :)

So at the moment am loving bazzill bling, love love love it!  phobe BG papers, laurel SR, buttons (cause didnt really use them much before) and multiple photos on a layout.  Ok have to clean up the bedroom before DH returns but if you have any question on making photo collages let me know :)  Trying to figure out how to make web cast kinda videos for that... ummmmm

WARNING: THE FOLLOWING SEGMENT IS LONG IN NATURE AND SHOULD NOT BE ATTEMPTED WITHOUT ALCOHOLIC SUPERVISION.

Well after a long week managed to find some time on Thursday night to have a couple of quiet ones with some friends as a pre-party drink then catch up with Yolande on Friday night for laughs on SBO. 

Thursday night well, see I have a best mate her name is Nicky.  Nicky and I go back a little while now but hting is there was short time recently that due to "life events" such as pregnancy, husband hissy-fits  and having new borns (me twice and her once) that were were unable to hook up "as much".  It was then on reflection we decided to evaluate the "nature" of this relationship and determined it was based on few things

a) alcohol

b) we both have a mad sense of humour

c) we like taking the piss out of our DH's

d) alcohol

e) we fit the same clothes

Now e is importnt because most of my friends are like "little" like when we go out they go "oh I have nothing to wear" and then proceed to open up a wardrobe the size of my bathroom.  Pleeze.  Secondly with regard to this particular commonality, is when we are getting ready to go (and we use to go out every weekend a couple years ago before I discovered SB) we can offer each other support and say "you can borrow this" and know that it will fit.  Of course when size 12 says to me "oh you can wear this" (and is said with love and sincerity) my remarks are usually along the line of "I dont think cotton is suppose to look like Lycra"... or "yes the top would look lovely as a scarf around my neck"  minus a few other choice words I migth add.... you know what I mean

However the most astounding fact was (drum roll) it was based on having 3 bottle of vodka , sitting around our kitchen tables and laughing till it hurt about everything and anything.  It was good for the soul I tell you.  To be able to laugh at ourselves but also with each other......  so it was great to be able to hook up with Nicky again and do this on Thursday night.... even if it almost ended up in a divorce for me (hehehe).  Now you might be thinkin goh thats awesome Michelle, its lovely to catch up with friends now and then.... bu tshe lives like a 10 min drive from me so have a feeling that we are going to be seeing a lot more of each other and I cant wait!!  So heres me and Nicky (with my kids)

ok and the down side of being in the photo is that DH takes terrible ones cause I live the camera on manual so this is like the only good photo (how bad is that) out of 27, yes you read correctly 27!  and this isnt the only photo in this situation...  arrghh

So will post what I got for my birthday later cause I forgot to take a photo and now its too late.,.. ok visitors arrived.. hope they arent planning to stay for drinks... will just post the rest of my pics and be back.  Pic are from the dinner we had tonight at Maketu and the view enjoyed from the terrace of the cafe :)

Ok so the day after is not soon.... visitors didnt leave till 2 this arvo cause they were severly hung over..... 

Ok so as was explaining my birthday celebration.  Had a cool night hanging out with Yolande on Friday night.  Was a little tired from the Thursday night so was an early one and got home about 11pm and yes that is early.   The chat room was a hoot and we kept getting a little "visitor" in the room but all good Jenny & Nigel had us covered.   Re the SBO DT, congratz to Trina and Vicky, love your work and looking forward to the coming year.

Sunday nearly Monday

just a quick one cause I'm tired and getting a bit of a cold or something that, so with all my effort am going to try and fight off.  Which means, it  looks like I wont be drinking (cause I have a couple of things to celebrate but will get back to you on that!!)  but thats obviously going to be revisted in a couple of days

Ok rugby is a go and a quick photo of me holding up the concrete pole.  I was tired that day too and my Josoph was being a right naughty little tanty fitting 2 year old.  But that was last weekend and this is this weekend.  This weekends sports was a Taekwondo torunament  up date saw me a wake at 6.00am on a Saturday (I so hate weekend sport) and getting our sons ready even though staying up till 1 the night before apparently wasnt good enough according to DH who had a panic attack!!

So TKD tournament went well.  We were a little nervous as it was Wiremu first ever fight and he is such a gentle soul and well for both of them we have had a 9 month break and only returned back to the club 3 weeks ago.  We went straight into a tournament and partly in prep for the nationals in Auckland on June 9 (yeah get to go to Auckland, Lianne wheres your shop).  All went well though.  Wiremu got a gold medal and Rangitautini received a bronze.   

To celebrate dad takes them to McDonald mum makes them the pencil  tins.   I think I've said a hundred times I'm not good at altered project, however have found the more I'm doing the easier it has been.  So sharing some photos now

and a couple of shots of a newborn that I did today as well!! 

actaully had a great mothers day with my mum and some of the ladies from our club.  had a champane breakkie and then loads of laugh with about 60 of us mammas.  My sons were hurt that I didnt stay home so they could cook me breakfast but DH so kindly offered to stay in bed and have breakfast on my behalf so my kids were happy to do that.  Oh please! 

So much for quick!

 Busy busy busy still nd had another great night at Bookem with the ladies there who have had over the weekend a weekend crop so how cool that would have been but at least I got there on the Friday.. which by the way DH and rugby (as in gone all Saturnday and hung over all Sunday :)  is going I'll be there every Friday... yeah for rugby.. also my sons had there first game of rugby and for my 9 year old his first game ever.  In New Zealand, thats kinda big, for a maori its strange, and for my whanau its just wrong... some would have you believe all brown boys are born with a rugby ball in their hand !!  but we opted for martial arts so got a bit of flack for it but all good :)
