A whole lot of busy

Its been one hell of a week!!  Work is crazy..... so many changes but getting there cause I keep telling my self only 4 weeks to go.  Small relief but relief none the less.  Today though was a great day cause its my daughters 5th Birthday... wow that time went really quick.   Maybe its a mum thing but every day infront of me I see her growing older and more beautiful.  She has this way about her which throws me of gaurd, an innocence and fire that shines through her eyes and you can see it clearly.   So we went down to the beach with the other 16 kohanga kids and played in the sun (I'm working on my tan still, its a slow browning process right now) swam at the beach and had fish n chips and ice cream, can I tell you I LOVE living by the beach!!

OK some more photos and yes even one with me.   Whilst I'm not so brave enough to take a photos of me everyday, maybe one or two a month might work..... ok maybe just one haha.  But some photos of my baby Jo, the kids leaning over the phone in the kitchen singing happy birthday to their cousin,

As for scrapbooking well now have a whole heap of photos which is cool cause I had even stop doing that for a little while there.  But again just sharing some photos from my photos drives.......

why does this amuse me  cause the shell was pink.  I took it home for my daughter and put it in my car but it got beat up by my ipod and phone so was sad.......

I'm so in love

and have been with this truck since I was 16.  I used to live nextdoor to a panel beaters when I was at highschool.  Yip, my nans house was across the road from a rifle range hall, panel beaters, spray painters, car parts shed and diseal mechanic so there was always lots happening on our "industry side of town" house.   One of the obvious advantages were all the guys around our place,  but the main advantage was the fact this is when I first fell in love with a Ford... yes,  not Holden Craig, Ford!!  I have wanted one of these truck since then and seeing it at the Tauranga Car show today reminded me of something I had forgotten but also reminded me of where my love of Fords came from,  all be it a teenage crush and some good looking young mechanic at the time.. haha!! 

Admittedly its not the color I want but hey I'm working on it.... I'll buy lotto every second week in the dream of it....  but anyway just some other beautiful fords, a viper and mustang  that took my eye...

Thought I had more on this but I love ghost flames and this paint job was awesome.

and then there was this, a Ford 1949 Single Spinner Ford Phatam.... sigh...... a concept car that was never manufactured but hello a orginally a  4door sedan, by the time he choped the roof, lengthen the doors, frenched the lights and customised the grill you have one sexy looking car..... sigh.....

 Ok sure you have got the picture now....  but its so hot here that it was cool to be out doing something different cause if nothing else I do love to roam

What else............ went and saw Yolande yesterday and wow the 7gypsie albums and goodies she had are amazing... so much so I felt my inspiration returning so quickly that I'm stoked.  The album are simply stunning and given where I am at this time of my life the quotes contain within certainly spoke to me.   So if you are in Tauranga check out Yolande classes thru Bookem including the making of an advent calendar on 15th Dec !!!  So thanks Yolande you rock matey and looking forward to attending here classes.

What else, yeah it summer and I'm getting blacker by the minute, actaully even 20 minutes cause then I have to hide in the shade otherwise I'll look like a lobster.  Suxs having long pitch black hair too I might say and got my first headache for the season... yea!!  Not..... but nothing that a hair cut wont fix

 As for my baby boy Jospeh well he's just black as!!  He goes out in the sun for like 3mins and you literally see him getting darker, so little boy gonna have a heap of sunblack, tshirt  and hats on him.  Wont even let him play in the sun to long , got all his toys hanging out in the shade but being a kid good luck to me I reakon!!

 Ok better get to these dishes and children of mine............... summer is so here!!

Evidence that I still exist

even if it is only just :)  Well not sure I had ever planned on setting a record around the longest time away from my blog but yip 30 September certainly is a damn long time ago.  And well what have I been doing??  Feel like I need to take a deep breath to be able to answer this question!! 

Well the short answer is I havent done any scrapbooking whatsoever, lost my mojo truth be told and certainly expect that it should return soon but maybe not at this moment and maybe not even for a couple more weeks but with christmas coming (damn that reality just hit) i'll be making cards and teachers pressies soon.....

In saying all of this I have been out and about with my photography and fortunate enough with work that I get to go out everynow and then.  Inspired by Sharon Photos walks my version is more of a photo drive haha..... so evidence I exist........  as well as evidence of where my foot prints now lay...........

 Me and my mum, love this photo of me... I mean her haha but more so love the bands that have come out for breast cancer.... so my kinda cause (specially if youve read my last post)

 

This was sticking out of a grassy lawn for no particular reason other than to be called art... it worked for me so I took a  photo or 10 :)

Have always loved taking photos of flax, this is my first in a while but looking forward to having them on my walls as canvases and will probably take more photos during summer too

This cool little tug boat (well I think if I knew what a tug boat was this would be it) was a sweet find photography wise... love the clash of primary colours..... works on a boat for sure!!

Then Witeri had his 30th birthday and the theme was pajama jam.....

not convinced anyone tht attended actaully looks like this when they go to bed but hey it was an easy theme and drinks were cheap if yah did wear your jammies.....

There is a lot but hey a little at a time... at least you know I still exist and still here and still reading your blogs
