that life was going to get quieter ... haha jokes on me.... hint for those thinking about having a family... March is not a good time to try this..... why hmm three birthday just before Christmas..... so not cool!!!
But in saying that wow, my babies are growing up quick and Pare starting school this week and loves going. I've been fortunate to date that my kids have not had problems letting go.... mum has but not the kids. I get to the gate on her first day and Pare tells says "ok mum thats about it for you I'm ok on my own" ..... WHAT! little does she know I need her, I need to hold her hand up that pathway to that classroom door and sit with her on the mat. Little does she know I want to see hang her bag up on the hook that has her name on it and watch her give her news for the morning, not for her sake but for mine!! But alas she adopts herself freely to the teacher who proceeds to tell me she a duck to water and that she'll be fine... so I go to the door, wipe my eye, whisper to her I love her and she waves with a grin a mile long and tells her teacher "my mummy loves me"...... yip I sure do little one!! But as it is the weekend she decides she has time for me and on a beautiful day like this we go swimming. Even managed to get my son to take a photo of us... yeah to having a 10 year old who likes taking photos and aint to bad at it at all (which is also code for better than his dad)
But also this week was my baby boys 3rd birthday and again time goes fast. Hes growing in leaps and bounds and his words at the moments are Mamma I want "tuddles" (cuddles) wheres my "blaguitar" (blanket) and can I have some "lipstickar" (lipstick) ... some words though he says distinctly well and that is a particular swear word... shit..... says it clear as a bell and is promptly growled and then I turn my face so he doesnt see me cracking up laughing cause his timing is impecable when using it.... like his spagetti falling off his spoon, when he puts his pants on the wrong way!! so cute but so naughty!! Like his sister birthday we had it up at the kohanga but because it was cloudy we stayed inside and had fun...
He was so exicted about it being his birthday and was glad to catch his little face on camera!! But also caught a great one with him doing his karakia and he looks so angelic that I've already got this layout sorted in my head!!
But its a good weekend so far and me and the kids have been out swimming. I'm getting darker which is great cause that is the plan, but for my kids!! they are gonna be blurple real soon....
